About Stream8

Stream8 exists for one kind of creator: the person running a live channel that never sleeps. A lo-fi music loop. A 24/7 game-replay channel. A daily yoga session rebroadcast. A cinema marathon. The kind of stream that, until now, meant leaving a computer and OBS running in the corner of a room and hoping nothing crashed overnight.

Why we built it

The existing options all fall short. Running FFmpeg on a cheap VPS demands DevOps skills, and the stream dies silently when the box reboots. General-purpose streaming SaaS is expensive and designed around live restreaming, where 24/7 file looping is an afterthought. Platform-native tools only reach one destination and still need a PC running OBS. None of them are built for the creator who just wants one dependable round-the-clock channel.

What we believe

A live channel should be something you set up once and trust to keep running. So Stream8 is deliberately focused: upload files, build a playlist, point it at your destinations, and we keep it live — with automatic recovery and health monitoring baked in. No live-scene complexity you will never use.
